Following the city charter, Alex will audit every city department and agency every year - including economic development, code enforcement, and the school district.

Alex will put our biggest challenges like youth violence, housing instability, and our shrinking property tax base under a microscope to ensure we are getting the most for our tax dollars and put us on the right footing for tomorrow.

Alex will collaborate with partners in government to deliver solutions and stand with our community to fight for the needs of everyone.
