Alexander Marion is running for Syracuse City Auditor because we need big ideas, accountable government, and creative thinking to move our city forward. His campaign draws on his years of experience in public service and the energy of our community working together to solve big challenges. A Central New York native, Alex has spent a decade in leading roles at City Hall and the state legislature, serving New Yorkers and delivering results on the challenges we face: protecting tenants, improving infrastructure, funding our schools, and making economic development transparent and inclusive. A lifelong Democrat, he's actively helped progressive campaigns and serious leaders up and down the ballot. He is a graduate of St. John's University and holds an M.P.A. from Baruch College and resides in the Strathmore neighborhood.
